Business as Usual

I finally make the decision, I am going to sell the Tracker!  I have had this 93 Tracker since I was a sophomore in high school.  I am now 31...

On a side note: I used to work with the "boys" the owners of Legacy Motors, at Laird Noller Ford a few years ago.

Anyway "my boys" had set me up to test drive a 2003 fully loaded, "lambo doors" included, Impala.  If I was able to capture a picture of what lambo doors look like on a 2003 Impala, BEFORE the door fell off, I would.  If you are not familiar with lambo doors click on this link  "lambo doors"

     Yep, that's right, this is the 2003 Impala I was going to test drive...guess not.
                          
           Now here's the rest of the story...I have to back track a tad bit...
Show up to test drive this bad boy and I immediately notice the front tires are low-No big deal right, they'll just air them up!?!
So it's like 113 degrees outside and while they are getting the car "ready" for us to test drive, my friend and I are off in the 2x2 building they call an office, cooling off in the ac.  As they pull the Impala around I also notice the passenger door not being aligned.  I mention it to Miranda, my sidekick, she says, "well the door probably isn't shut all the way, they know we are going to get in it, sooooo." 
So honestly, I thought that sounded like a pretty good explanation.  Before we knew it, the car was ready and we are offfffff, like heard of turtles!
 Miranda was struggling with the passenger door, after all they are "lambo doors" and neither one of us had ever experienced the use of lambo doors.  Next thing you know the ever so sweet used car salesman, Brady Height, assisted Miranda with her door, in doing so the door literally fell off.  (this is where you crack up, for a while cuz this really happened)
Miranda and I graciously asked for keys to a different ride to test drive while they figured out what to do with the door of the Impala. 
...So we are now cruisin' in a Jeep Cherokee Laredo. Take this puppy on the highway, decide we are gonna' eat a lil' lunch at Lupita's, downtown Topeka. They are closed that day, so we chose to get the ride back, bout 45mins to an hour had passed-
We head down Kansas Ave to 6th Street as we are about to pass
Jayhawk Auto Body, I notice the Impala with the missing "lambo door".
"Wow they already got this car to the bodyshop," I said outloud.  Miranda couldn't believe it really was the same car so pulled in to Jayhawk Auto Body right next to the Impala.  As I was pulling in, I noticed the back passenger door had new damage...(see photos on your right) A good sized dent and a huge black scratch with yellow paint at the end of that scratch.  I would like to say I have a pretty good memory and the only thing yellow on the dealership lot is my Geo Tracker!!!! 

Yes, it's true, after the tires were flat, the passenger door fell off, Brady Height, hits my Geo Tracker with the Impala. 


O wait, it still gets better!  My mind is racing with a million of ideas of what I am going to say to these guys, right?!? 

Well after a few probing questions none of the boys fessed up, not one. I was told, "it's been business as usual," by Brady.  Next I explained, I SAW the Impala and the new damage and actually took pictures of it.  Suddenly Dustin, the mechanic, said, "O yeah we had every intentions of telling you we hit your car"

...

I mean what more is there to say other than, "what a dam shame" or "business as usual" for the used car salesman, right???!!!!! LOL
